SMS terms and conditions

The programme. Time Well Spent Group Limited (registered company 10204110, 14 Belford Road, Edinburgh EH4 3BL) sends SMS text messages about its own magazines: Shooting Times & Country Magazine, Trout & Salmon, Airgun World, Sporting Gun, Fieldsports Journal, Rifle Shooter and Gundog Journal, and the memberships and books we sell. Messages carry subscription offers, renewal reminders, welcome-back offers for former subscribers, and occasional news about our titles and events. We never text on anyone else's behalf.

Joining. You join the programme by giving us your mobile number when you subscribe, buy from us, enter a competition, or sign up on one of our websites, and by not ticking the box that asks us not to text you. Consent to receive marketing texts is not a condition of buying anything from us.

Message frequency. Message frequency varies. We typically send no more than four marketing texts a month for any one title, and often far fewer. Messages are sent between 9am and 8pm UK time.

Cost. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for our texts, but your mobile network may charge you to receive them at its standard rate, according to your plan.

Stopping. Reply STOP to any of our texts to cancel and you will not be texted again. You will receive one final message confirming you have been unsubscribed. You can also ask us to stop at any time by emailing orders@twsgroup.com or calling 0131 357 6305 (Monday to Friday, 10am to 4pm, UK time).

Delivery. Mobile networks and carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery depends on your network and handset and is not guaranteed.

Your details. We hold your mobile number for this programme only, alongside your name and the title you subscribed to, and we do not sell or share it for anyone else's marketing. Our text messages are sent through our messaging providers, Dotdigital and Mailchimp, who process your number on our behalf. How we look after your personal information, where it is held and your rights are set out in our privacy policy.

Changes. We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the current version, and any change that matters to you will be explained in a message before it takes effect.
