Your subscription

How soon after ordering does my subscription start?

With the next available issue. Weekly Shooting Times usually lands within two weeks; monthly and bi-monthly titles with the next issue to print. If your subscription includes the digital edition you get set-up instructions by email within 24 hours.

How will you confirm my order?

You get an email confirming your order straight away (from GoCardless as well if you set up a Direct Debit). Our team then completes your record and posts a welcome letter with your customer number.

How do I cancel?

Email orders@twsgroup.com, WhatsApp 07971 359322 or call 0131 357 6305 (Mon to Fri, 10am to 4pm) with your name and delivery postcode, or your customer number if you have it. Direct Debits can also be cancelled with your bank; card subscriptions stop when you tell us. Nothing more is collected after your cancellation is processed.

How do I change my address?

Email orders@twsgroup.com or WhatsApp 07971 359322 with your name, old postcode and new address. Changes made before the issue closes go on the next delivery.

How do I check when my subscription runs out?

Ask us by email or WhatsApp with your name and postcode and we will tell you. Renewal reminders arrive by email before your term ends.

Can I subscribe from outside the UK?

Yes. Overseas print subscriptions are set up by the team: call 0131 357 6305 or email orders@twsgroup.com and we will quote the price for your country. Digital-only subscriptions work anywhere.

Paying

What ways can I pay?

Direct Debit (set up on GoCardless's secure page), or any major credit or debit card, Apple Pay or PayPal through Stripe. Your bank and card details never touch our systems.

Is there a receipt or invoice?

Your confirmation email is your receipt. If you need a VAT invoice, email orders@twsgroup.com with your order details and we will send one.

Digital edition

How do I read the digital edition?

Go to pocketmags.com/activate-subscription-hub, choose your title and enter the email address you subscribed with. The Pocketmags app then gives you every issue on your phone or tablet, plus the back-issue library.

Delivery

My magazine has not arrived. What should I do?

We post before the newsstand date, but the post can be slow. Please allow three extra working days, then email orders@twsgroup.com or WhatsApp 07971 359322 with your postcode and we will send a replacement. Postal delays we know about are flagged on our social channels.

How long does delivery take outside the UK?

International mail goes priority airmail. From the publication date: Western Europe 4 to 6 days, Eastern Europe 4 to 8, North America 6 to 8, Central and South America 6 to 9, Middle East 6 to 8, Africa and Asia 6 to 10, Far East and Australasia 6 to 10.

My magazine arrived damaged.

Sorry about that. Email orders@twsgroup.com or WhatsApp 07971 359322 with a photo and your postcode and we will send another copy.

Books and single issues

How long does a book or single issue take to arrive?

Orders are picked within two working days and usually arrive within three to five working days in the UK, and within ten days overseas. You pay once at checkout; delivery is charged per parcel, however many items you choose.

Can I buy a back issue?

Yes. Each title's single issues page lists what is in stock. Once three newer issues have been published a back issue drops to half price, except Fieldsports Journal and Gundog Journal, which hold their price.

Gifts

Does the person I am buying for get anything from you?

Only the magazines. All billing and confirmation goes to you, the buyer. After paying you can print a gift card to hand over, and you choose whether the subscription starts with the next issue or the Christmas issue.

Can I add a book or a show ticket to a subscription?

On some titles the checkout offers a book, or a British Shooting Show ticket on the shooting titles. Tick it and it is paid in the same payment: the book comes with your first issue and the e-ticket is emailed before the show.

Memberships

How do the SSA and BASA memberships and insurance work?

BASA (airgun) and SSA (shotgun) memberships cost £34.95 a year and include £2 million public liability insurance for recreational shooting in the UK under a group policy arranged through Sportscover Europe Ltd and Allianz. Cover takes effect the moment you make your first payment. Buy at shop.twsgroup.com/insurance; the full summary of cover and how to claim is at /insurance/guide. Existing members: email orders@twsgroup.com for renewals.
