Guest Editor: Nadja Swarovski

This issue’s guest editor is Nadja Swarovski, great-great-grandaughter of the founder of the global Swarovski brand. Since childhood, two intertwining threads have shaped Nadja’s life: wild spaces and manufacturing excellence. With Austria’s mountains rising above the Swarovski factory, Nadja learnt early on both the thrill of hunting and the value of craftmanship. Today, whether braving the elements on a chamois hunt, or designing the latest Really Wild clothing collection, she is totally in her element. 

Nadja’s issue comes to you straight from the mountains and hunting grounds of central Europe. We follow one of Europe’s most notable female hunters on a chamois stalk in the Austrian Alps; before taking a serious look at how climate change is affecting chamois populations in the area. Our cover artist shares how growing up in the Czech Republic inspires her art and love of wild meat.
